SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Jan. 7 marks one year since Brian Deforge, a 46-year-old night janitor at the Syracuse Academy of Science Charter School, was found unresponsive on school grounds.
The family continues to grieve, facing the loss of a beloved brother, father and uncle. On the anniversary of his death, Kathryn Duvergel and Angel Christian, Brian’s sisters, reflect on the challenges of moving forward in their lives without him.
