Syracuse, N.Y. — A 24-year-old Syracuse man has died from complications linked to injuries he suffered in a 2020 hit-and-run crash on the city’s East Side, according to a funeral director.
Nahgene “Chewy” Jevon Wright died Dec. 28 after years of serious medical issues stemming from the crash, said Charles Garland, owner of Garland Brothers Funeral Home, which is handling Wright’s funeral.
