WRGB- State Assemblyman Angelo Santabarbara is urging the state comptroller’s office to investigate the increasing National Grid bills in New York.
Santabarbara has received numerous calls from customers questioning why their delivery fees are rising despite reduced energy usage.
He explained, “So that means the company is taking more money in. It’s not even for the gas. It’s not even for the electricity. So the company’s taking more in as a delivery charge but that goes to them and they do what they want with it, and when I see profits go up, I’m gonna start asking questions.”…
