Syracuse man faces new charge connected to fatal overdose of 4-year-old

Syracuse, N.Y. ― A Syracuse man now faces a more severe charge in connection with the fatal overdose of a 4-year-old girl.

The child, Amora Graves, was found unconscious and not breathing on the floor of the home at 123 Lakeview Ave. around 10:55 a.m. on Aug. 27, police said. The child ingested a lethal amount of methadone, they said.

Quentin Evans, 38, was initially charged with criminally negligent homicide, a felony with a maximum sentence of four years…
