MANLIUS, N.Y. — The Fayetteville-Manlius Board of Education appointed Dr. Magda Parvey as the district’s next Superintendent of Schools, during a vote on Monday, January 12.
Dr. Parvey is expected to start her tenure as Superintendent at one of the largest suburban school districts in Central New York in the spring. The school district said additional details about her transition will be shared at a future time.
“I am deeply honored by the Board’s confidence and excited to join the Fayetteville-Manlius community,” Dr. Parvey said “F-M has a strong foundation of excellence in academics, athletics and the fine arts, dedicated educators, engaged families, and a commitment to opportunities for all students.
