Syracuse to hold public hearing on a 6-month ban of battery energy storage systems

Syracuse, N.Y. — Syracuse Common Council will hold a public hearing at the end of the month on a proposed six-month moratorium on battery energy storage systems.

The council voted unanimously today to set the hearing for 5:30 p.m. Jan. 26 in the Common Council chambers on the third floor of City Hall in Syracuse.
