Syracuse school board votes to remove commissioner: The Syracuse school board voted unanimously Tuesday night to remove Commissioner Twiggy Billue, claiming she violated her oath of office. Lawyers for the Syracuse City School District said Billue violated the district’s visitor protocols and broke the code of ethics while getting involved with an issue in her grandson’s classroom.
