Man stabbed on northside of Syracuse , expected to survive

A man was stabbed on the northside of Syracuse on Thursday, January 22.

At around 4:37 p.m. Thursday, Syracuse Police Officers responded to the 1300 block of Butternut Street in regards to a report of a stabbing with injuries.

When they arrived, Officers found a 37-year-old man suffering from an apparent stab wound to his left shin, as well as lacerations to the face area. The victim was transported to Upstate University Hospital, and is listed in stable condition, according to Syracuse Police…
