NYSP investigator stabbed serving warrant for armed robbery suspect in Syracuse

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — A New York State Police investigator was stabbed while serving a warrant in Syracuse on Thursday morning.

The state police said investigators were assisting the U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force at 2000 Lodi St. in the city around 8:15 a.m.

The warrant was for the arrest of Cedric Cundiff, 67. The state police said Cundiff was wanted out of Massachusetts for robbery in the first degree. It is alleged that he robbed a store at gunpoint…
