Trooper stabbed in hand in Syracuse during arrest of man wanted in Massachusetts

Syracuse, N.Y. — A State Police investigator assigned to a federal fugitive task force was injured Wednesday morning while executing an arrest warrant in Syracuse, troopers said.

Around 8:15 a.m., the task force members responded to 2000 Lodi St., Apartment B, where troopers attempted to arrest Cedric Cundiff, 67, according to Sgt. Jack Keller, a spokesperson for State Police.

Cundiff was wanted in Massachusetts on a charge of first-degree robbery in connection with a robbery of a store at gunpoint, Keller said…
