Ithaca Man Sentenced to 15 Years in Federal Prison for Cocaine Distribution, Illegal Weapon Possession

A federal court in Syracuse issued a 15-year prison sentence to an Ithaca man on Jan. 16, following a drug and firearms investigation by the United States Department of Justice.

According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Zachary Jackson, 38, made a guilty plea and was sentenced to 180 months in federal prison for possessing with intent to distribute cocaine; possessing a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime; and possessing a firearm as a convicted felon.
