SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — The City of Syracuse is facing a serious shortage of commercial driver’s license (CDL) drivers, and with one winter storm after another, the city says the timing couldn’t be worse.
Syracuse’s Department of Public Works is dealing with a major staffing gap that’s putting extra pressure on crews during the busiest winter in years.
