Syracuse, N.Y. — A fatal crash on Erie Boulevard West in Syracuse started with vehicle pursuit by Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office deputies early Tuesday morning, according to a law enforcement source.
A pursuit by deputies was reported at 2:30 a.m. at Avery Avenue and West Genesee Street in the city, according to the Onondaga Count 911 Center. That’s about a mile from where the crash was reported on Erie Boulevard between West Genesee and South Geddes streets.
