Anonymous donor provides space heaters, hand warmers for Syracuse residents to stay warm

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — On another freezing cold Syracuse morning, cars and lines formed at the Salvation Army with people gathering essential supplies to keep warm.

The Salvation Army gave away hand warmers and space heaters from an anonymous donor. Those are necessities that many in Syracuse struggle to afford.

“It’s a cold world out here theres a lot of free food freek blankets, free warmness, so nobody should be hungry, homeless or out in the cold,” said Tameka Giaves, of Syracuse. She called the donation a blessing…
