Man arrested on grand larceny charge in Auburn

AUBURN, NY — A man was arrested on felony charges after allegedly cashing a check without sufficient funds at a local bank last summer.

Charles P. Tuttle, also known as Argus F. Mela’Occio, went to Generations Bank at 621 N. Seward Ave. in July and withdrew more than $3,000 after writing a check to himself, according to Lt. S. Deyo.

Police said Tuttle knowingly did not have sufficient funds in his account when he obtained the money…
