How low did we go? One Upstate NY city hit -36 degrees, its lowest temperature in 10 years (chart)

One city in Upstate New York recorded its lowest temperature reading in nearly 10 years on Sunday.

Watertown recorded a temperature of -36 degrees at the airport Sunday, the lowest on record there since Valentine’s Day 2016, when the mercury dropped to -37 degrees.

The reading came just weeks after the airport hit -34 degrees last month and is significantly below the normal low of 9 degrees for this time of year…
