A 33-year-old man has died after being shot in Syracuse’s Park Avenue neighborhood on Sunday (February 8), with police still searching for suspects in the case.
Syracuse police officers responded to a ShotSpotter activation at approximately 10:07 p.m. in the 900 block of Park Avenue, according to CNY Central reports. While officers were en route to the scene, they were notified that a shooting victim had arrived at Crouse Hospital by private vehicle.
Upon arrival at the hospital, officers found the 33-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. Despite life-saving efforts by medical personnel, the victim was pronounced dead shortly after. Authorities have not yet released the man’s identity…
