The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for the eastern Lake Ontario region, warning of hazardous travel conditions from Friday morning through Saturday morning.
The advisory, issued Thursday afternoon, covers Oswego, Jefferson and Lewis counties. The advisory takes effect at 6 a.m. Friday and remains in place until 7 a.m. Saturday.
Mixed precipitation is expected to bring 2 to 4 inches of combined snow and sleet accumulations, along with one-to-two-tenths of an inch of ice accumulation across the region…
