Joan Marie Reidy, 94 of Syracuse and formerly of Oswego, died Wednesday evening in St. Joseph’s Hospital with her family by her side.
She was born in Oswego and was the daughter of the late John H. and Anna Mercier Reidy.
Joan resided in Syracuse, NY where she was lovingly cared for and enjoyed life with all the outing opportunities that her care givers provided. She was involved in her community working for the Salvation Army where she retired after many years. Joan was very social and enjoyed her BINGO trips, attending concerts and sporting events. During the warmer months, Joan could be found on the front porch enjoying the weather and greeting passerbyers. Joan especially enjoyed her trips to Oswego to visit with her family for gatherings and celebrations.
