NY-based credit union will open its first downtown Syracuse branch this summer

Syracuse, N.Y. – Sidney Federal Credit Union is opening its new location in downtown Syracuse in late summer, according to a credit union official.

The community-chartered credit union already has two branches in Onondaga County. The Liverpool branch opened in 2023, followed by Cicero in 2024, said Andrew Smith, chief retail officer.
