Two men stabbed on Syracuse’s Near West Side, police say

Syracuse, N.Y. ― Two men were stabbed Thursday afternoon in Syracuse’s Near West Side neighborhood, police said.

Around 1:21 p.m, Syracuse police found a 22-year-old man near Geddes Street and Merriman Avenue with a stab wound to his left shoulder after officers were flagged down for a reported stabbing in that area, according to Kieran Coffey, a spokesperson for the Syracuse Police Department.

That man was taken to Upstate University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Coffey said…
