Syracuse University alumna to compete on ‘Jeopardy!’

An Upstate New York woman will compete on “Jeopardy!” this week.

WTEN reports Nannono Zirimu, a Syracuse University alumna from Latham, N.Y., will appear on Wednesday’s episode of the long-running game show. Her competition will include Aahil Makhani, a business student from Alabama, and the winner of Tuesday’s episode.

Zirimu, a 25-year-old regulatory analyst, told WTEN that she has long wanted to be on “Jeopardy!” after watching the show as a young child alongside her father. She said her dad “nourished my love for learning new things.”…
