The lunar eclipse begins around a quarter of 4 am Tuesday in Syracuse and CNY and becomes totally eclipsed/covered by the earth’s shadow (umbra) just after 6 am with the maximum eclipse occurring at 6:33 am. The eclipse ends here in CNY due to the moon setting close to 7 am.
