SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Just days shy of his birthday, 58-year-old Steve Smith was arriving at the Syracuse Hancock Airport when he collapsed — he was in sudden cardiac arrest.
Thankfully, two airport officers and a nearby nurse made life-saving efforts. Smith had CPR performed on him as well as multiple shocks from a defibrillator.
Miller’s wife, Linda Smith, told NewsChannel 9 today that her husband is making excellent progress in his recovery.
