Liverpool elementary student explodes pepper ball in class that he thought was Pokémon ball

Liverpool, N.Y. – A student at Liverpool Elementary School accidentally exploded a pepper spray ball in a classroom on Tuesday morning.

The fourth grader found a Byrna pepper ball in his yard while getting on the bus and picked it up because it resembled a Pokémon ball, according to Meghan Piper, a Liverpool Central School District spokesperson.
