Syracuse, N.Y. ― A ringleader of a drug ring operating inside the Parkside Commons apartment complex in Syracuse was sentenced to prison Wednesday.
Jean Carlos Calderon, 32, previously pleaded guilty to enterprise corruption, a state law similar to the federal Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, also known as RICO. He also admitted to selling drugs.
