LIVERPOOL, N.Y. (WSYR-TV)—Parents are continuing to raise concerns about school security after a series of threats at Liverpool High School written inside the school’s bathroom. The threats led to an early dismissal, lockdowns, and increased police presence at the school.
Since the first incident on Jan. 15, which sent students home early, Liverpool parent Abigail Kelso has started an online petition calling on the district to install metal detectors in the high school. The petition has received over 1,600 signatures in support.
