More bridges tied to the massive I-81 viaduct project are coming down soon.
Beginning Monday, Court Street will shut down over Interstate 81 for months as crews demolish and rebuild the bridge.
“I-81 northbound, underneath the bridge, is going to have four lanes. It has three lanes today,” said State Department of Transportation Region 3 Public Information Officer TeNesha Murphy. “In the future, it will have four lanes. So that bridge needs to be longer to cover all of the lanes.”…
