Syracuse, N.Y. — Typical rent in the Syracuse metro area grew at one of the fastest rates in the nation in early 2026, according to data from Zillow.
Typical rent in Syracuse was more than $1,586 in January, up 5.47% from the previous year, according to Zillow. That growth rate ranked 35th in the U.S. among the nation’s 300 largest metro areas and second in New York.
