Syracuse, N.Y. ― The grandmother of a slain 23-year-old man told his killer Wednesday their family has chosen to forgive her so they can move on and heal.
“I forgive her, not for her, but I forgive her for us, me and my family, so that we can move on in life,” Melinda Robertson said in court. “I don’t wish any ill will, but I do want her to pay for what she did.”
