CONSTANTIA, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Several fire departments spent a couple of hours extinguishing a blaze at a residence in Constantia on Friday.
The Constantia Volunteer Fire Department said in a post on its Facebook page that personnel responded at about 2:15 p.m. to a reported house fire on Simmons Drive.
The fire was contained after about two hours, the department said, and all units were back in service by about 6 p.m. Fire departments with Caughdenoy, Central Square, Cleveland, North Bay, Parish, West Monroe, and West Amboy all provided mutual aid at the fire.It is not clear yet if anyone was injured or displaced by the fire.
