Glenn A. Sotherden is honored for his service in the United States Air Force from 1966 to 1970, where he attained the rank of Sergeant (E-4) during the Cold War. He trained at Lackland Air Force Base and served at Offutt Air Force Base in Omaha, a radar site in Korea, and Westover Air Force Base, supporting key communications. After his service, he spent 33 years at Davis-Ullmer Fire Equipment Company and helped found the Clay Veterans of Foreign Wars, continuing his dedication to safety and veterans.
