Wanted felon speeds over 100 mph through Syracuse streets, strikes police car

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — A wanted felon is in jail on Friday after he led authorities on a car chase in Syracuse, according to the Syracuse Police Department.

Jeffrey Maddox, 28, faces dozens of charges from past felony warrants and Wednesday’s pursuit. Some of his felony warrants date back to 2024.
