The Syracuse Police Department is honoring Officer Dawn Daly (Villa) for 36 years of service. Appointed on June 22, 1990, Daly is the department’s most senior female officer and ranks fourth overall in seniority. She served 17 years in uniform patrol, later working in the Youth Division and Missing Persons, and was the first to earn the Community Engagement Medal for her work with residents.
