A new business has moved into the former home of Laci’s Tapas Bar at 304 Hawley Ave. in the Hawley-Green neighborhood on the city’s east side.
Harlem Knights is a music lounge, bar and restaurant, catering to R&B and jazz lovers age 35 and older. Harlem Knights operated for about three years at 3902 S. Salina St. before opening the Hawley Avenue location in January, owner Gail Craig-Thompson said.
The business is open 7 a.m. to 2 a.m. Wednesday through Sunday. Craig-Thompson said the goal is to have live music several nights a week, including jazz on Sundays. A DJ hosts karaoke on Thursdays and there’s a jukebox available all the time, she said…
