The New York State Department of Transportation will close lanes on Interstate 81 northbound and southbound in Syracuse from Tuesday, March 31 through Thursday, April 2, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. each day. The closures will allow crews to inspect overhead signs.
Work zones include:
- I-81 southbound between Exits 23A–23B–22 (Hiawatha Blvd/Destiny USA Dr/Bear St) and Exit 20 (Franklin St/West St)
- I-81 northbound between Exit 18 (Adams St/Harrison St) and Exit 23 (Park St/Hiawatha Blvd)
