Syracuse man stabs man multiple times in DeWitt hotel room during fight, police say

DeWitt, N.Y. — A Syracuse man has been charged after police say he stabbed another man multiple times at a DeWitt hotel Monday morning.

Around 6:08 a.m., officers were called to the Red Roof Inn at 6614 Thompson Road for a man injured in a stabbing, Lt. Jerry Pace, a spokesperson for the DeWitt Police Department, said Thursday.

When officers arrived, they found a man in the hotel lobby suffering from stab wounds to his abdomen and going in and out of consciousness, Pace said. Officers provided immediate care until EMS arrived and took the victim to a local hospital, he said…
