Syracuse woman accused of bringing dangerous substance into Rome prison that hospitalized officer

ROME, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — A woman from Syracuse is accused of bringing a suspicious substance into the Mohawk Correctional Facility that hospitalized five prison staff members.

New York State Police arrested 53-year-old Shondrea Taylor of Syracuse and charged her with two counts of promoting prison contraband.
