Judge sets suppression hearing date for man accused of murdering son and girlfriend

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Court procedures continued on Tuesday for a man accused of killing his girlfriend and his own son last year.

David Huff was charged murder for the death of Jeremiah Huff, 11, and Yeraldith Tschudy, 32. Specifically, Huff is facing one count of murder in the first degree for both their deaths and two charges of murder in the second degree for each death.

On Tuesday, an Onondaga County Judge granted Huff’s defense team a suppression hearing scheduled for May 14. The defense is looking to suppress several statements made by Huff during the court of the investigation. Anything suppressed would not be used as evidence in trial…
