A former television spokesperson says her cocaine addiction began in Syracuse, a decade before her most famous job helped save her life.
Wendy Kaufman, a 1980 graduate of Syracuse University, is best known as “Wendy the Snapple Lady.” She worked in PR for Snapple in the ‘90s and pitched the brand’s juice and tea beverages in TV commercials for years.
