SYRACUSE, N.Y. — A Syracuse firefighter is recovering at home after suffering injuries from a fall while putting out a house fire at 118 Hall Avenue just after 1 p.m. on Tuesday.
According to officials, Syracuse Fire crews arrived to find smoke coming from the back of the house. The fire was quickly located in a rear bedroom and knocked down within 10 minutes, being declared out before the 20-minute mark.
Fire damage to the house was limited to the bedroom where the fire started. Smoke and water damage was also found throughout the rest of the house…
