Pierce County man arrested after firing shots at group during domestic violence dispute in the street

A 24-year-old man was arrested last week after allegedly firing gunshots toward a group of people in the Puyallup/South Hill area while fighting with his girlfriend.

The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office described the incident, which took place at approximately 6:45 p.m. Tuesday, as “a large domestic violence altercation” that was occurring in the middle of the street.

“Several residents reported shots were fired and people were screaming and running,” the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office stated. “Surveillance captures the suspect firing shots towards a group of people. When deputies arrived, they learned the suspect who fired shots had fled on foot.”…
