Months before the resignation of Pierce County Juvenile Court’s deputy court executive, TJ Bohl, investigations identified “significant shortcomings” in his performance and concluded that his failures to act contributed to staffing challenges and exposed the county to liability.
A summary of a Human Resources investigation into Bohl’s “role, actions, and decision-making,” said Bohl failed to act on repeated guidance from HR to address barriers and potential legal concerns in the court’s hiring process during a “critical staffing shortage” at Remann Hall.
