Police arrested a 20-year-old Kent woman for multiple theft and drug warrants after officers initially used their bumpers to pin in place a vehicle that had been reported as stolen.
At about 2:27 a.m. Aug. 11, an officer on routine patrol received an automated license plate reader camera notice (aka Flock cameras) about a stolen vehicle downtown near Willis Street, according to an Aug. 12 Kent Police Facebook post.
As the officer approached the area, he received a second notification that the vehicle, a 1999 Toyota Corolla, was headed towards 64th Avenue South and West Meeker Street, according to police.
