E-commerce giant Amazon on Monday notified the state of details of its latest round of job cuts, this time reaching into Pierce County.
According to Amazon’s Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification filed with the state’s Employment Security Department, the layoffs, totaling 121, would affect workers at sites in Seattle, Bellevue and Sumner.
The Amazon Fulfillment Center at 1800 140th Ave. E, Sumner, was listed in the notice with approximately 32 workers affected. While most of the sites showed just a handful of workers to be cut, 49 were listed at an Amazon corporate office site in Bellevue…
