Puyallup crash triggered by driver, 22, who failed to slow for traffic, WSP says

State troopers say a 22-year-old semi-truck driver from Oregon triggered a two-vehicle crash Saturday night and injured a Bonney Lake woman.

About 8:30 p.m., the Salem man was headed east on state Route 512 in Puyallup when troopers say he failed to slow for traffic and crashed into a driver with three passengers, all of them from Bonney Lake, according to a Washington State Patrol memo released about the incident.

One of those passengers, 55, was hurt and taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup, according to the State Patrol…
