It was a beautiful October day today, and we are wrapping up this nice weekend with mostly clear skies and a very chilly night on the way. A frost advisory is posted for many places in the South Sound area and Kitsap Peninsula. Temperatures will go down into the low 40s near the water, but they will drop to the low 30s in colder locations away from Puget Sound.
The frost advisory will extend until 8 a.m. tomorrow morning.
Tonight would be a good evening to bring in any tender plants or vegetation to avoid the potential for damaging frost, if you live in the advisory area, which includes southern King County, Pierce, Thurston, and Mason counties…
