PIERCE COUNTY, Wash. — Video from a Pierce County deputy’s body-worn camera shows the takedown of a volatile suspect in an attempted car theft on Saturday.
On March 1 around 10 p.m., deputies were called to a report of a strong-arm auto theft. A woman told dispatchers a man punched her in the face when she tried to stop him from stealing her car, and the man was still in her vehicle.
