Washington Winter Weather Alert: Up to 8 Inches of Snow in Cascades by Monday Morning

Seattle, WA – A winter weather advisory has been issued for the West Slopes of the North Cascades and North Central Cascades, where up to 8 inches of snow is expected starting Sunday evening.

According to the National Weather Service, snowfall will begin around 4 p.m. Sunday and continue until 5 a.m. Monday. The advisory applies to areas above 3,500 feet, including Snoqualmie Pass, Stevens Pass, and the Mount Baker Ski Area. Cities near the impacted region include Maple Falls, Skykomish, and Darrington.
