‘Shut this thing down:’ Neighbors pleaded with 911 hours before Spanaway party shooting

SPANAWAY, Wash. — 911 calls newly obtained by KOMO News reveal the desperate attempts by neighbors in a Pierce County neighborhood to summon police to a large house party for 90 minutes before a tragic shooting occurred, leaving two teenagers dead.

The incident took place on March 29, when the two teenage boys were shot at 12:24 a.m. A 17-year-old boy has since been arrested and charged with murder.
